The first thing to react when I'm anxious is my stomach. I have to run to the loo and everything I eat will go straight through me plus I get tummy cramps. Then I get stuck in that loop of anxiety = bad tummy = anxiety.....
Things I do that help:
Loperamide to stop the runs.
Change diet for a few days to rice, bananas and bland fat free food to give my tummy a rest.
Anti anxiety meds to calm me down.
If none of those things help then I'll see the doctor.
Try not to focus on the worst, I know we all do...but really there are SO many other things it could be before that.
