I have taken to watching lots of senseless nonsense on FB. I have become aquainted with Brad Mondo and his hair disasters.

I might try and convince myself it's educational.

That's progress. Routine and uneventful days are better than what you had previously experienced.

    Any plans for the weekend?

Most definitely! Still anxious but it's not as completely overwhelming and I can catch myself before I completely spiral.

Still a lot of work to do, but not as completely chaotic as before. Didn't take a promethazine this morning either - tried that powdered stuff mentioned in here instead. Not sure if it worked or if I'm just getting better at distracting myself.

Doesn't matter..It's the end result which is important. Get your confidence back re managing anxiety by your own methods whatever these may be.

Not a bad day. Had a rather large wobbly about lunchtime, but went for a coffee with my stepdad in the afternoon, he seemed a lighter today and then I had a massage

Well in all honesty I think today was a good day. Unsettled during the night which resulted in sleeping late. But I kept well occupied, did a bit of decorating, sat in the park and had an ice cream. Was a little wobbly in the supermarket - but it was heaving so it's kind of expected.

Tomorrow is the start of my phased return to work. I'm going to try and be organised and get things ready tonight to take a bit of the pressure off. Clothes ready/bag ready etc.

I know it's going to be tough, but, I think I'm ready. I'm not expecting miracles, I'm not going to breeze in and act as if nothing has happened and that I'm 100%. I'm going to take it steady and hope for the best.

I think that's a very positive move, Catkins. Your team will be aware that you will need a gentle reintroduction to work but I reckon that you're ready to give it a go now.

If it doesn't work out it's not your fault. Just approach it with an open mind and pace yourself?

Will do. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out, I'll just try again another day.

Must remember to shave my legs tonight.
