I'd go with the new one.
I'd go with the new one.
All manner of thing shall be well... (Julian of Norwich)
Well not a bad nights sleep. Slept about 8 hours with one brief wake up.
Weird dreams though. I dreamt I was at work and we were in a glass porta cabin I'm the car park which was really hard to work from. Someone bought us lasagne and chips for lunch. The only charged 20p for it.
The other dream was that my husband was throwing up. I'm slightly concerned that this wasn't a dream. But I guess I'll find out when I go downstairs.
Well husband wasn't being sick and it was just a dream. Which was a relief.
He was however in pain this morning. He went to lie down for a bit then did a little walk. He's gone to do a bit of work now.
He did it a lot of stuff he hasn't really eaten for a while yesterday so that could be what triggered it off.
All poo tests were negative. He's convinced he has IBS now and believes it was triggered by the pain he was having in his back. Not sure if that's right or not. But it fits with his symptoms and has a psychological component. Which is good that he accepts.
Also news on the therapist front, my old therapist says she probably won't be able to see me as regularly as I want at the moment. She suggested I try the new lady and if that doesn't work out I can contact her and she'll try and fit me in.
I think this is actually a good plan.
She also referred to this as a 'relapse' rather than a 'breakdown'. Which I thought was positive.
Got an appointment for CBT today too. On the phone which is a pain really. But good anyway.
Today wasn't a bad day.
I even managed to relax enough to sit and read.
That's good to hear, Catkins. Was your CBT with this new therapist?
No.
The CBT appointment was for the week after next, I made it sound like yesterday, but I just got the appointment letter through yesterday.
The CBT is through the NHS.
The new therapist is person centred. Which is different from my last therapist who was a psychotherapist who used CBT.
Does that make sense?
Could I get to sleep last night, could I bugger.
I was too hot, the skin on my feet felt too dry. I wasn't comfortable. Brain was overactive. But eventually managed to sleep. Slept for about 7 hours which is pretty good. Now I'm up and showered - which is pretty good as I didn't get dressed until about 11 yesterday.
