My appt is at 2.30 and I really don't know if I can go. Of course I have convinced myself that I will get a blood clot.

You won't. Pretty much nobody does, and I don't think there's been a single recorded case after the second injection.

There have been 15 cases
That's still really not a lot out of countless millions. I'm getting my second one next week, and I'd definitely rather take my chances with that than with Indian-variant covid.

I know it's a small amount but how do I stop myself thinking that I'll be one of the ones it happens to? Did you have AstraZeneca?
I had the AZ, yes.
Try to think of it this way - imagine that instead of a blood clot, it was a huge lottery prize. Would you still be convinced you were going to win?

That's what I told myself too. Besides that I also analysed the cases of thrombosis after vaccination and realised that over 80% of people who do get it are treated on time and efficently. We now know that this special thrombosis eeds to be trated differently due to low blood platlets, so the fatality of thrombosis after a vaccination is even lower now than it used to be in the beginning.
Also, one of my coworkers had thrombosis (unrelated to the vaccination) and she is fine! She got treated and she is completely fine now.
Don't know if I can go through with it, I can't even get out of bed, I'm paralysed with fear quite literally
Are you aware that your thought patterns are faulty?

Yes I am aware of that to a point. People have died after the AZ, I have no way of being sure that I won't be one of them.
