    Hi I'm new

    Hi everyone
I suffer health anxiety/ GAD and panic attacks

My story started last august .. I was getting chest pains so went to the doctor a pharmacist saw me and told me I was ha ing a heart attack so rushed me to hosp chest scan and xray all normal this is where my health anxiety started. A week later my stepdad passed unexpectedly from a heart attack this is where my panic attacks started and continued. Sometimes I have back to back panic attacks my symptom are
    Chest pain
    Heart palpitations
    Short of breathcor air hunger
    Headaches
    Blurred vision
    IBS plays up
    Gerd plays up
    The list goes on

I've had full blood counts done, chest xrays chest scan, thyroid checked, diabetes test all normal. When I get a bug ir anything
I think the worse and think I'm dying which starts me with panic attacks again my worse symptom is my eyes I cant describe the feeling it's like when I'm looking around my head feels full of cotton wool and it's hard to focus on stuff ( dont even no if I've described it right as it's hard to explain) I had some cbt few months ago which helped I'm on the waiting list again for more. Thankyou for reading

Hi and welcome! I'm not surprised HA was triggered by a pharmacist rushing you to hospital!
I've been having 'heart attacks' for years. I can now tell myself they'd have DEFINITELY have led to problems if that's really what they were.

Although at 60, I do occasionally remind myself to check out symptoms as well as ignore them - a balancing act we all go through!
