Do you still drink fizzy drinks/sodas?

I use to drink a lot of Coca Cola but then I stopped because it was making me too jittery. I only drink Coke Zero these days and even then I very rarely drink it unless I'm in a cafe and don't fancy water. I was thinking about drinking more but I'm not sure. What about you guys? Do sodas and fizzy drinks still satisfy your thirsts? lol

I didn't drink fizz for the longest time, but I've developed a truly awful Coke Zero habit now. I have a glass or a can most days; I feel guilty because I suspect I'm slightly addicted, but I need cold drinks in this weather and while I do drink a lot of tap water it gets boring every once in a while.

The only thing I drink that's fizzy is beer and that's only occasionally. I stopped drinking soda and such over 15 years ago. My go-to is Gatorade Zero (cherry) and Water...

These 2 articles partly explain the addictive side of diet soft drinks:

They still have caffeine in though so I would ditch that altogether

As far as caffeine.... I have coffee in the mornings 1-2 times a week and I drink a cup of black tea otherwise. It's funny, I couldn't function without coffee for most of my life but switched to tea after a bout of diverticulitis. I actually prefer tea at this point.

Same here.. I need the energy sometimes, hate to admit it. There is the crash also from too much caffeine and Phenylalanine; let alone energy drinks containing Taurine - trouble is, its fake energy and doesn't last.

I drink fizzy water instead! But I do add cordial to it sometimes.

How badly do you want to be free of your anxiety disorder?

Coke Zero means no sugar but it's actually higher in caffeine than normal Coke - 42 mgs as opposed to about 32.

Oh very badly! So in that case, I'll just ignore Coke Zero altogether.
