Small bump in anus

Hi, kind of new here. While taking a bath a few days ago, I was washing my anus and felt a small bump on the anus wall. It feels like a pimple, maybe 2 or 3 mm, a little round thing. Too far in to be visible, I think. I have an appt. for next week for my doctor to look at it, hopefully with an anoscope or proctoscope.

Can pimples grow on the interior anus wall? Hoping that's all it is--I don't have any other symptoms. Has anyone on here had a similar experience? I'm a little worried and spent all yesterday Googling.

We all wash our down below parts but what were you doing feeling around inside? As stated, regardless of your method of discovery, most likely a hemmie or pile.

I just give the ol' tea towel holder a once over with a flannel? And I leave the fingering to my GP.
