Yeah, I do lots of cooking and baking to help my mood......which works really well, until it goes wrong. Then it has the opposite effect and I lose the plot. So, understand what you refer to NoraB.

It's horrible when things go wrong, isn't it? If I feel really awful I usually get Mr. Iris to deal with it - he's good at stuff like that.

Unnecessary update: my manager made it plain that if I attended a couple of (mandatory) meetings while the rest of the team were packing up for the move, they'd resent me for it and she would be perfectly okay with this.
Feeling really isolated right now.

Did you tell your manager that she puts you in an impossible position? And then I'd tell the rest of your team what's going on. You have mandatory meetings at the same time you're supposed to pack. Ask them what they want you to do and leave the manager out of it.
I'm still a work in progress.

I told her this, yes. I spoke to someone on the team who I thought was a friend, too, and she made it clear that she still thought I was being lazy.
I feel as though I'm back in the school playground being bullied again.

but what about the other members of the team? How many are there?

Only a couple, and what usually happens at times like these is that they say they understand, then ostracise me.
Oh BI what a shitty situation.
Can you email everyone and say that you'll be unable to pack at the time of the meetings due to them being mandatory, but are happy to at other times? If you're up front with them, will they understand?
Your managers sounds like a bitch.
Oh, I've told them to their faces. The mistake you make here is assuming that they're rational.
Based on experience, they'll resent the hell out of me.
Sorry you are feeling like this right now. You’ve always been so active in supporting others on here and clearly couldn’t be further from the person you feel you are at the moment. Stress levels in Education settings have been steadily rising since covid and I know in our school people are working in a constant state of high stress, which we all know can lead to all sorts of problems. I’m sure that once you’ve broken up and taken time for yourself, you will come out of this blip. On a side note, I have been on Citalopram and during difficult times I increased from 20 to 40mg for a few weeks and it did help.
