Segs made a fantastic noise when you walked on them and your shoes lasted longer. I wonder if they still make them.

Blakey’s that does take me back , great for marching down the road sounding like you really mean business, it so good if your being chased by zombies first corner you’re on your arse as you have zero grip , hammered into a pair of shit spreader shoes and you have summer ice skates .
what I didn’t read or see on the menopause was the affect on men who find themselves living with a beautiful loving psychopath , it’s like sharing a home with a serial killer while wearing a slightly faulty bomb vest , the joys of getting older , with age comes wisdom well I’d disagree having recently fallen of a child’s scooter .
My observation for today was that anxiety is a master of disguise, it can change to what ever your worst fear is at the present time like a clown with an axe under your bed , since coming into contact with covid I’m waiting for it to pounce so anxiety bless her ( or him or hebeshebe ) sees fit to give me symptoms , like the fake heart attacks , brain tumours , mad parrot disease before now it’s chest pain shortness of breath ( I get these every week anyway) yesterday I felt so weak and dizzy I thought this is it I’m dying, when I stopped working I realised the time and that I’d been working flat out for five hours with only a Jaffa cake and no drink inside me , once re fuelled I soon picked up .
Ive also pondered on my belief that bad things always follow good but you could look at it that good things always follow bad and given last year losing my mum , my daughter being diagnosed with ms plus generally having a shit year maybe some good is long overdue , oh for Christ’s sake my sense of smell keeps coming back and Ive realised how much my dog farts , it’s making my eyes water so I’ll sign off and catch you all later. X

Is a jaffa cake a cake or a biscuit though?

    Lol pamplemousse
Good point Pulisa. I don't think it's either, it's an imposter of a cake and it's not crunchy enough to be a biscuit or dunkable, It's unique!
