Well, it's but a small step. It'd be ideal for you, but of course it's when you return to the UK that there could be problems. if I recall though, aren't you afraid of flying? It's certainly something for you to work towards though.

Yes that’s right awful fear of flying that’s why I often took the train to Europe. Perhaps things will improve this year I am focusing on short goals like just a long trip down to London. Often there is lots to do in big cities.

That's very true. A London trip would be a great goal to have. No need to worry about having to fly to all these countries in order to tick things off on your bucket list. It would be very complicated for you now anyway. You have a trip booked to Manchester soon so see how you get on there and if it goes well maybe a London trip could be next?

It says for travellers, not general testing.

Thing is Phil, that view is commercially driven, not health-driven. The other thing to remember is that foreign destinations may take a very dim view of the UK's laissez-faire attitude and impose additional restrictions.

Want to discuss a few things

    The news so we have:

    World War 3
    Lassa Fever
    HIV
Heart attacks (by breathing, fluffing up duvet, sports men ect)

This is some of the stuff coming up so how much do we need to worry?

Phil, while we're all concerned about the situation in Ukraine/Russia right now, there's currently no talk of a full-on third world war on the BBC site.

In fact, they're still talking more about diplomatic negotiations rather than waltzing in willy-nilly all guns blazing.

I haven't seen any mention of epidemics of Lassa Fever, HIV/AIDS, or heart attacks either.

I reckon you must have been doomscrolling and/or reading dubious stuff from WUMs on social media.

I second this to FrankT and Confusion, before they get wind of your post and inadvertently start having kittens!
