    If you *seriously* believe an army of people are going to bang on your door and forcibly stick a needle in your arm, you are seriously mentally ill and should get professional help.

    Seriously, just listen to yourself.

    Ok, so right now you only need a vaccine passport to enter certain venues. That’s it. I understand you have a high degree of anxiety about it being mandated or whatever, but once again there is only one real viable solution to ridding you of that anxiety. What else do you want anyone to say?

    For the record, I think these vaccine passports are a lazy attempt from our government in encouraging younger folk to be vaccinated. I think requiring evidence of a negative test for entry into certain venues is a far better idea. However, I don’t make the rules. I can shout and bawl and rant and rave as much as I like, the decision has been taken by those charged with making such decisions and as such I either get a vaccine passport or just don’t go to places that require one.

    Nobody is coming to your door to vaccinate you, that’s utter nonsense. You have some slight restrictions placed on you by not being vaccinated, but it’s hardly Nazi Germany is it?

    Yes, I heard that and indeed a mention of a door-to-door vaccination service.

    NOWHERE did he say it would be mandatory, and he agrees with you that "passports" are a waste of time.

    Now, contrast that with a visit a friend of mine made to a tourist attraction outside Paris last week:

    - no entry without a "passe sanitaire";

    - masks to be worn at ALL times, even outside;

    - track and trace sign-in at the on-site cafés and restaurants.

    The bottom line is your choice, your consequences. PERIOD. You cannot be reassured nor can anyone predict the future. Now please just give it a rest, this is just going around in circles.

    FMP, there is a subset of the population here in the UK who believe that their actions/choices should be consequence-free.

    Just to counter Phil’s misinformation. Here’s a New Scientist article that clearly outlines how much being vaccinated reduces transmission.

    https://www.newscientist.com/article...re-vaccinated/

    Key Line: “A recent study found that vaccinated people infected with the delta variant are 63 per cent less likely to infect people who are unvaccinated”

    Phil, you want to believe that your choice only impacts you. This is simply not true. Refusing the vaccine makes you far more likely to both get infected and pass your infection on to others.

    As people have repeatedly said, we can accept your decision. However, you need to accept that your decision significantly increases the threat you pose to others, and this could result in people deciding to refuse you entry to various public and private settings.

    You can choose to refuse vaccination.
    Others can choose to refuse you admission to their premises.

    You cannot have it both ways. Your decision, your consequences. End of.

    Same here in the States and elsewhere in the world. Nevertheless, in this instance, there's nothing that can be said that will reassure a member with a 15+ year history of extreme mental illness and a very identifiable posting pattern. Is this really any different than bin germs or any other of the themes the OP latches onto? In this instance, regardless of the subset, there's nothing that can be said here to help the OP. His choice, His consequences. PERIOD!

    I got a draft of somebody coughing in shop I work hit my arm have they have me Covid or is it unlikely? I washed my arm

    You won’t have it from your arm, unless you lick your arm, as it’s an airborne virus. However, working in a shop without being vaccinated makes catching covid far more likely, as you are in an indoor space that numerous unknown people are entering.

    The best way to avoid getting covid in spaces like this is getting vaccinated and making sure the space is well ventilated. Washing your arm is a far less effective preventative measure
