HPV positive & Low grade changes.

I had a smear in February, which came back with HPV and low grade changes, It’s now my second year with HPV, I was sent within a week for a colposcopy and whilst there the nurse looked and said “no point in a biopsy for it to just confirm CIN1” at first I didn’t worry, I had trust in her, but I’ve read stories about similar results being more advanced or even cancer.

She didn’t biopsy me and I’m scared there may be a bigger problem going on…

My health anxiety mind at 2am

Any women that have had colposcopy with no biopsy?

I have just tested positive for HPV as well and have to go back in a year.

I have had a colposcopy before when I was younger and no biopsies taken if that helps.
