Sounds like a typical mild case, isn't the taste and smell thing weird?

You should be able to taste sweet, salt and sour. Thats because our taste buds are working fine its the olfactory nerve that's affected.

* I ate a lot of pickles with my meals lol.
On a serious note I was concerned not to be able to smell food that may be bad or smoke if there was a fire.

This sounds very promising! The taste and smell thing can last a while but that's many peoples only symptom 😊
