Hot Soup - esophagus & stomach concearn.

Hello all,

Monday dinner I was in a rush, took soup out of microwave and swallowed a spoon full, which was very hot.
It stopped me in my tracks, my breathing went and though I was going to be sick until pain eased.

Now it is Thursday and I can swallow ok but drinking and eating food, I can feel a slight discomfort in the front of the stomach and in my back.

I was wondering if I need to see a doctor or go the hospital, or will the damage heal it's self over time, only happened Monday?
Anybody else ever done this?

Yes, done this numerous times. Soup, hot chips - whatever.

You can swallow Ok so you're fine.
