Warm? You call this 'warm'? I'd call it scorchio myself?
Mate, my colon doesn't know what's hit it this week!Does anyone find their IBS plays up in the heat?
My IBS is generally of the constipation type but not this week. No. This week I've gone completely the other way and had the type of botty evacuations only usually experienced after a damn good slanging session with Gary A!
Seriously, I haven't needed my daily kiwi fruit, olive oil and magnesium and that's the Holy Trinity for me to be able to go poo-poo and not bust my O ring straining to pass a turd the size of a raisin.
But I've also had pain, cramping and a lorra lorra wind...
Hope this helps?
A thought is harmless unless we believe it.
I was actually reading a thing about the link between IBS and allergies - if you suffer hay fever it can trigger IBS symptoms as histamine lives in your gut as well as your sinuses.
I think my IBS has flared up over the last several weeks since the heatwave in Scotland so it could be a factor
.I have only suffered from this condition intermittently but I have had severe symptoms for a while now and have been feeling pretty low especially with constipation and pain which I hate.
I have altered my diet given up soft drinks , caffeine and stopped smoking which I was doing any way . I hope cooler weather brings some respite😕
