Nobody smoked in shop it was electrical fire but the smell does smell like stale cigarettes smoke like a passive smoking smell

So far they have failed to let me know my times for working this week in other shop. My worry is nobody can suggest a date when the smoke smell will go? If ever?

Update I agreed to go to fire damaged shop today as they said I could see how it goes but said I can work on other shop if I don’t like it which seems fair enough

Like I worry about buses and COVID vs the smell in this shop seems no easy choice for me. I guess I have to see how today goes

I went and done the shift the store stinks very strong and it’s very dirty still. I asked to move to other shop this week and got landed all late finishes 5 days rather than my contract 4 despite the manager at other shop promising early finishes. Any suggestions? I really am stuck in a hard place

Sounds like they are accommodating your needs, despite the fact they don't need to if your original store is declared safe. You may need to suck it up.
