My lenses need correcting every year or so. Bit worried.

Every year or so I have to have my lenses corrected. It's mostly reading and typing that become a problem. I sometimes find it hard to focus if that makes sense.

I have one eye that is shaped like a rugby ball, causing near sightedness (or long-sightedness, I can't remember). But, the other eye is the flip of the other. One is long, the other short. Without glasses I can see the screen clearly. Like the words have no sharpness and look blurry. One of my eyes has astigmatism. But other than that no disease or issues.

Does this mean eventually my eyes will be so bad they can't be corrected?

I had new lenses every year from being 6 to 60. Then I had cataracts and they replaced the lenses. Hopefully that's it now!

There is LOADS that can be done for eyes, and it's advancing all the time, so try not to worry. x

Thanks Speranza, my Nan had something very similar. She had cataracts in her 60's and always wore thick glasses. They did something during surgery and she no longer requires glasses.
