    Bp medication

I'm on 5 different meds to control bp and have been for several years, does anyone else take a similar amount and if they do, do they have any side effects from them

I'm on two. One for BP and a beta blocker (also take blood thinners and a statin). No real side effects from the BP med except some occasional dizziness but the beta blocker puts a cap on how much I can exert myself and causes breathlessness if I do. Been on both since 2007.

    I'm on an ACE Inhibitor.

And a blood thinner as well as a statin.

The beta blocker nearly killed me and sent me into respiratory arrest several years back
I do feel weak and in the morning I feel something swollen, but not always. Actually, I have severe reactions to blood pressure medications. I was on hydrochlorothiazide (diuretic) but somehow that seems to have resolved.

    Are you not feeling well?

Started on 5mg amlodipine, only brought it down slightly...so now I'm on amplodipine-valsartan 10-160mg. We'll see how this works in a few weeks.
