Poor Geronimo the alpaca who is on Death Row after testing positive for bovine TB..

A vet says the tests show he has antibodies though and not the disease. Geronimo is asymptomatic and always has been.

There is now a human shield protecting him at his farm and there will be a huge protest march in London this afternoon to deliver a massive petition against his destruction to Downing Street.

It's a very complex situation. I hope he is saved but understand that it's not a straightforward decision.

I saw this. Poor Geronimo. Although, also poor thousands of other animals who lose their lives daily because of us humans. :-((

Oh no! I hope they can save him (notice the obvious they as I'm sitting on the sofa doing diddly squat).

I would have signed the petition though, if he hasn't got the disease it seems terribly unfair.
