2 week referral to Gynaecologist...period starting!!

    Hi Ladies

I have an appointment tomorrow under the 2 week pathway for a red lesion on my vulva that has been present for a few months now. Ofcourse im really worried about the outcome but to top this off my period looks to be starting......

So my question...is it still ok to attend my appointment if im bleeding? i have never even been to a gynaecologist before and ofcourse i can't get hold of anyone to ask as its bank holiday Monday.

Any advice/experiences welcomed....i can't wait for this to all be over! xx

Yes, you can go while bleeding. At least in US you can. If they can’t see something clearly they may have you come back for a recheck.
