Waiting for results is tough. Try and keep busy and distracting yourself. At least they biopsy is put of the way.

The biopsy sample came back with non-aggressive malignant cells. The radiologist who phoned assured my mom it's not an emergency, but she does have an appointment to see her breast surgeon on November 8.
How are you both feeling about it?
Well, my mom knew what to expect because the surgeon told her it was probably another DCIS. So neither of us is surprised.
At her appointment, the surgeon even said to her, "I could go in and take this tissue out right now, but I'd rather get a biopsy first to confirm the diagnosis."
Of course, we'll both feel better once she's seen the surgeon again for follow-up.
Glad it's not too long to wait, although any wait is hard.
