menopause/peri menopause

i was hoping someone here can give me some help/advice as i believe ive approached this stage, various feelings of flushes heightened anxiety,

have just bought menopace from boots as no test as im on the pill injection

im 47 and mum had it around 48

If you do a search for peri menopause on this forum you’ll find all types of posts like yours. I think you’ll find many ladies dealing with similar issues! I know I do and I’m 42 - from what I understand peri can last up to 10 years!

You can get a blood test done to see if you are pre-menopausal.

Hot flushes (mine were from the chest up)
Heightened anxiety (fun for me given that my norm is set on 'high')
Weight gain
Murderous thoughts towards husbands for leaving the bog seat up
Perfumes previously well tolerated suddenly smell like fox shit.
Things start drying up in the vageroo/vulva area.
Skin starts to look a bit crap.
The merest glance at a cream cake brings on the shits.
Increase in migraines.
Thick hair where you don't want it.
Thinning hair on your head. (pro to this is that it takes less time at the hairdressers)
Less tolerance to alcohol.
Less tolerance in general..

If this sounds like you, then I'd say you're heading into the menopause territory..
