Thanks all. Soreness has mostly worn off today; it wasn't worrying me in the least, I'm just glad it doesn't hurt any more.

Ignore what I said about mantras - it's not working for me today. Glad it isn't hurting anymore.
Are you worried about having those jabs tomorrow, Catkins?
I think I am a bit. Plus I was doing some different work today and my mum's birthday on Saturday. Lots of things in my head.
Although the good news is one of the patients I visited today is 92, she had her booster/flu jab at the weekend, felt absolutely fine just struggled to take her nightie off the next morning because you get a jab in each arm. I'll skip a nightie tomorrow night.
Wish you luck, Catkins. You'll be great, though!

Good luck from me too! Looking forward to hearing what you pick up in Matalan!
I've got my flu jab on Friday. Good to hear that the booster jab programme is underway with your elderly patients. Portugal says that immunity wanes after only 3 months with the very elderly so we should get cracking on protecting our very senior citizens.
I'm sure Saturday is very much on your mind, Catkins...Have you thought about how you will get through the day?
I'm going to walk the dog up to see her first thing, I'll get some flowers on Friday to take up. Then I might have over filled my day a little - swimming at 12, massage at 1 (which I had actually forgotten about when I booked the swimming), then I'll probably see my stepdad for a coffee. Also our son is up for a couple of nights. Yes definitely overfilled it. That was stupid - I guess I might only do what I feel up to in the actual day. Will see how it goes.
Take it as it comes? You'll know what the priorities are and other things can wait.
