I think it is a very good idea to give the suppositories a go. I think if your gp actually felt the piles there can be little doubt. But I can totally understand your mistrust. And to be honest I think there IS a big problem with primary care in this country. Xx
I hope you can do too. Anticipation of the mammo and the wait for results must be especially daunting for you. Get it out the way and you've done all you can to keep yourself thoroughly monitored. Hopefully the suppositories will be easing the BMs through as well by that time.

I’ve started on the suppositories as the doctor asked me too. I can’t wait for them to work and this bleeding to stop. Surely piles and possibly a tear can’t take this long to calm down?!!
I’m just taking hope from the fact that I have now spoken to several health professionals who think it’s piles, the itching, no change in bowel habits, no stomach pain, hopefully it is just piles and not cancer.
