Thank you. I will remember those words ‘deal with facts not fears’ that’s very true. I will
give the suppositories a go and see if they make any difference.

I think it is a very good idea to give the suppositories a go. I think if your gp actually felt the piles there can be little doubt. But I can totally understand your mistrust. And to be honest I think there IS a big problem with primary care in this country. Xx

The rational side of me is sure the GP is correct, she felt the piles and they do itch, which is another good sign.

I’m hoping once I get Monday’s mammogram out of the way I can calm down a bit!

I hope you can do too. Anticipation of the mammo and the wait for results must be especially daunting for you. Get it out the way and you've done all you can to keep yourself thoroughly monitored. Hopefully the suppositories will be easing the BMs through as well by that time.

    So the panic continues….

I’ve started on the suppositories as the doctor asked me too. I can’t wait for them to work and this bleeding to stop. Surely piles and possibly a tear can’t take this long to calm down?!!

I’m just taking hope from the fact that I have now spoken to several health professionals who think it’s piles, the itching, no change in bowel habits, no stomach pain, hopefully it is just piles and not cancer.
