2 weeks of spiralling - upset stomach or cancer :(

    Hi all,

I have had the worst few weeks! I had just gotten over strep throat about 3 weeks ago and now I have an upset stomach.

At first I thought it was food poisoning but 1-2 weeks later, it has not gotten better. I am a nervous wreck and have been barely eating and mostly just drinking tea, porridge, and toast. A bit TMI but by stool is loose or really soft and often comes out all at once, once a day. It is a bit more narrow than it used to be, which makes me wonder whether it is colon cancer. I am only 22 and really do not want to be dealing with this but I have no idea what I should be doing.

I have seen the doctor who ruled it out as food poisoning but it has been quite some time.

Should I be getting a second opinion or just let it be and see how it plays out :/ Whenever I think about it my stomach sort of hurts and it makes weird nosies throughout the day.

I had similar issues following the stomach flu. I finally had to get some medication, similar to Immodium, for a few days to get my stomach settled down. I would check with your doctor again and see if there is something you can take.
