    *ANOTHER UPDATE*

    Hi Guys

Well my son has been a star and is well on the way to recovery I’m so proud of how he has dealt with this considering he was so scared of it

Not such good news is I tested positive this morning so I’m feeling pretty grim right now

But I am reminding myself there are plenty of people worse off than me and how bad would I have been if I had caught it early on

Thanks for all your support guys x

I'm sorry you've tested positive but I suppose it's inevitable once you're surrounded by it.

Good for you for being upbeat and you can take inspiration from your son's response. My daughter is autistic too and absolutely terrified of getting ill but sometimes I think that the reality of actually having it is easier to handle than the fear of getting it..

Look after yourself and take it easy! Let us know how you are getting on

For some reason I can't see the replies on page 2 of this thread, how odd.

Re: My daughter has tested positive for Covid 😞

    Hi guys

Thanks so much for your messages

My son is doing amazingly well his isolation is up on Saturday and apart from no smell he’s pretty much back to himself I’m so relieved

My daughter is back to normal and back working from home

I do feel better than I have but today I’ve got up and changed my bed had a shower and it’s knocked me a bit so I’m back in bed

I think my biggest problem is my mind and all the bad things people have told me about covid come flooding back or all the scary headlines I’ve read definitely doesn’t help having bad anxiety and having covid

Pulisa….you are right about our kids being more scared of the thought of getting it than actually having it….I asked my son if he feels less scared now and he said he does but he said I will still wash my hands use my sanitizer and wear my mask 😊

My husband is still well hasn’t picked it up at all I’m kind of nervous waiting for him to tell me he doesn’t feel well but he’s fine he believes he had it very early on when it started I do remember him being in bed for a few days with what we thought was the flu maybe he’s right

Thanks again everyone I will post with an update again soon stay safe x
