Yesterday I went to an ORTHO doctor, because i mechanically hurt my wrist, and the pain was getting worse, together with swelling.. The x ray was taken, and then the doctor said he would give me a combination of steroid + lidocaine shot, to calm it down so it can heal.
He went out, he brought the shot himself, and he personally gave me the shot, because the spot was sensitive ( a big vain there). The shot itself was very painful.
Later I started ruminating if there was something suspicious in the shot ( syringe), other than lidocaine and steroid ( like somebody's spit, or something) - because I did not see it being prepared. I know this is utterly ridiculous and also pathetic, but, I suffer from severe clinical OCD, that is why I think this and ruminate. It is horrible.
Can one of the Forum's senior admins / members just scream at me, telling me that I am being ridiculous, please? It actually would work, I just want to stop intrusive thoughts.
I was thinking of going back to the clinic, to ask, but I would be hugely ashamed, so that tells you everything.
Thank you so much in advance, whoever responds.
