I've booked an appointment with a breast specialist for Monday.

I'm sorry to hear that, its a massive step in the wrong direction. You are now moving into expensive, unneccessary paid reassurance. REASSURANCE from others WON'T WORK -as Blue says above - what will be different this time ? Why will you believe this specialist when there is a pattern of believing nobody so far ? You don't seem to be reading what everyone is saying - or if you are reading it you certainly aren't taking it onboard.

You have already been told there is nothing wrong - but because you WON'T deal with it (not CAN'T deal with it, note my different choice of words) you are carrying on the endless search.....

Back and forth to the Doctor, not believing them about this problem - which was incidentally nothing and disappeared. The Doctors, the many you saw, were RIGHT. Infact, in all your threads, the Doctors have been right every single time. You have the problem here, with not believing people. This specialist will be no different I'm sure. Oh sure, for a short while maybe you will feel ok (the drug of reassurance has a short half life), then I guarantee that just like all the other times over the years - the 'buts' will return.

But seeing someone else that says it is all fine is not going to stop you then moving on to something else.

You need to tackle the HA which is why I sent you that course to look at but you have to put the effort in.

'I wish I could' - its so passive Chlobo. You can. CBT and therapy (and discussions on here) fail for you because you will not take responsibility for your own thought processes. Motivation, and loads of effort and NOT buying pointless Specialist opinions are the order of the day. You just don't seem to want to actually sort this out. If only you put as much emotional energy into the steps that are required to make positive progress.......

I think I do need it, my breast is still has the red patch and it's hurting a bit, I keep getting niggling pains in it.

If you needed it - you would have been referred by one of the GPs you saw.
