Lump down below

Hoping someone can calm me down! About 2 weeks ago I was getting washed in the bath and came across a lump to the right of my vagina opening. I suddenly froze and had a panic attack. I was going away for a few days so couldn't go to my gp. I can't stop touching it and checking to see if it's got bigger or shrunk. It feels like a marble, maybe smaller. I broke down to my husband yesterday,he had a feel and said it'll be fine but go and get it checked but I'm terrified of going to my go incase it's cancer. I've had health anxiety on and off regarding cancer for as long as I can remember but been doing really well the past few years. I have 3 beautiful kids and all I can think about is this lump and what it might be.

Could be a spot/boil/cyst - I wouldn't worry too much about it and watch and see.

I get spots and cysts down there. They usually go on there own within a few weeks.

Are you able to use a mirror to check its appearance? If it is red or has a “head” on it it’ll likely be a boil that may need antibiotics. I get them frequently in that area too.
Even if it doesn’t have that appeared, there’s a high chance it could just be a cyst.
If it were me, id monitor it for a couple of weeks before going to the GP, cos chances are it’ll go away on its own,

Have you had a look with a mirror?
I’ve had something similar to this, and it was a boil which went away on it’s own in time.

Yes I too have had a similar lump. It was a boil or cyst that went on it’s own after about a week x
