That's reassuring. It's hard to know what to believe
Most of what is claimed about ADs online is nonsense and this can include claims made in medical journals (there are a lot of competing agendas at play and truth is too often a casualty, especially from the anti AD side).
One of the problems with ADs is that many of the studies are too short, typically only 4-6 weeks, which can both elevate the number of controls still having a placebo response and reduce those in the med group achieving a positive result. Trials should really be at least 8 weeks, with 12 being ideal, imho, but trials are expensive so that is unlikely to happen.
