I know I shouldn’t do it but I’ve been reading medical journals and case studies and the outlook is doom and gloom 😪 basically it’s more aggressive, lower life expectancy

They will be worst case scenarios. Don't read the stuff and don't google.

    Hang on in there.

What’s to say the dermatologist who looked at my moles last year wasn’t just after my money and didn’t look properly at them and now I’ve got melanoma that’s spread? Or the dr who did my colonoscopy said he saw a 1mm polyp but couldn’t find it again to biopsy, maybe it’s grown and become cancerous 😪😪 I might have cancer everywhere/a different type of cancer somewhere else

Hmm I mean you make a good point…but now I’ve actually been diagnosed with cancer, everything looks bleak and my anxieties have taken on a new meaning/level

Minimally invasive cancer, the clue's in the name.

It's up to you whether or not you let this overwhelm you.

Not alot I can do…I can’t go out because I have covid, that combined with the fact I can’t speak very well still because of my operation on my thyroid doesn’t leave me with many options. I can’t see my counsellor as I can’t speak for an hour like I could before, and I can’t do anything until my consultant has his meeting to decide whether I need the rest of my thyroid out.

I'm sorry to hear about your concerns regarding your thyroid and the discovery of a lump. It's positive that the contents of the larger nodule came out easily during the fine-needle aspiration, but further testing is still required. While the doctor didn't express excessive worry, they mentioned the term "benign-ish" and will be sending the samples for analysis. It's important to await the results and refrain from jumping to conclusions. Try to stay positive and follow up with your doctor for further guidance and clarification.
