Moderna booster side effects

i had a Moderna booster on Thursday, first two jabs were Oxford AZ and had no side effects. After booster I felt pretty achey Friday which soon went and my arm was sore. Saturday noticed a rash on my arm and swollen lymph node under my arm, that has eased a little but just down from my injection site I have two raised oval lumps under the skin?

anyone else experienced similar?

I havent had this jab but I know my side effects were bad with pfizer. Hang on in there. It will pass.

We had the Pfizer, all three. My wife had a sore arm and node under her arm for a day or so and I felt yucky for a couple days. No different than the first two jabs.

I looked up about this and it seems that its a rare response, but perfectly safe and self limiting. It's actually called - 'Covid arm' and almost exclusively happens with Moderna (now called Spikevax) LOL

I had Pfizer for dose 1 and 2. Had Moderna booster two days ago. Sore arm after about 6 hours. Really sore armpit at around 24 hours. It's now about 30 hours after the booster and my armpit is still sore and tender. General arm soreness has gone. I've been drinking heaps of water. I've never had a lymph node issue so it's a bit unsettling. I hope it goes away quickly.

Its actually good news, your body is doing what it is meant to and showing obvious building of immunity symptoms. I had Spikevax (the name of the Moderna vaccine) as my booster too, after two AZ vaccines earlier, and this one was the one I had immune response symptoms with (very strongly!)

I always think if I have some symptoms following a vaccine that it's doing it's job. Felt fine, maybe a little tired, with my first two jabs. Felt crappy for about a week with my booster (All Pfizer).
