Unless I absolutely have to, yes. I'm not as bad as I was but I haven't been since a couple of years ago.

I get really bad anxiety, yes. When I had a hospital appointment for my basal cell carcinoma, I didn't sleep for 60 hours before.
No idea what triggered the HA; I suspect I've had OCD tendencies all my life and I think the health anxiety is a manifestation of that.

I do, yes, especially if I think my husband is poorly - that still freaks me out past the point where I can be logical.
If I'm the one getting the weird sensations I can generally just dismiss them.

That's interesting. So your anxiety has moved onto your husband more so than yourself now.
I do worry about people I love, but my health anxiety the focus is always me.
It's a real nasty cycle of spirals and fear.
It's a battle between being scared of the doctors, yet wanting to run there in a panic every-time I feel something is dreadfully wrong, I've read this long post from the beginning so much. I have to go for a smear test this week and I'm dreading it. I actually want it to hurt so I know all my nerves aren't numb.
I actually put custard on my back earlier and let the dog lick it off to check if I could feel it, the dog was happy at least.
Spoke to my mum this morning. She told me not to worry about my current symptoms again.
In panic mode, can't seem to focus on much apart from my bowels.
Have so much to do round the house but I just want to sleep to escape this
Push yourself to do the housework, or at least settle in with a book.
