Propranolol

Hi there....

Just wondering what dose of Propranolol people are on, I am on 10mg four times a day and if I get very worked up I can still get my heart rate up to over 85 beats per minute (over 110 - 120 and higher) when not on Propranolol.... this adds fuel to my fire as it makes me think there is still something wrong with my heart as my heart rate should not go up on Propranolol..... ahh I love living with panic!!! Any words of wisdom???

Im on 80 mg daily (one slow release pill per day). hard to say if 85 is ok or not! Guess it would be even higher if u werent taking them?!

I take 20mg each morning but sometimes i can do without.but ive been on them a couple of years now x

im giving them another go , I am taking 20mg in the morning for the past 4 days and they have helped somewhat.

My gp wants me to take 40mg at night , to help with my migraines and dizziness.

Does anyone else find them helpfull ?

80mg for me too (2x40mg). I'm only on my second week, and although I've had some nasty side effects (which are thankfully beginning to subside), they have made a massive difference - I'm relaxed enough to smile again
