    Yeast infection

So ive had a yeast infection for almost 2 years now because im embarrassed to tell my doctor about it but im thinking i should cause at this point its not good.

Im scared however that its too late to get treatment and that it wont work.
    What do you guys think?

Probably a good idea to check and see that it really is a yeast infection and not something bacterial. BV isn't scary, it just requires different treatment.

You can buy tests to do at home that are used to tell you if you likely have thrush or BV (Boots do them). I have never used one myself and I don't know how accurate they are. I have had thrush a few times though and it was awful - I really feel for you if you've had it for 2 years! You could always call a pharmacist (without giving your name) and ask for advice.
