So I have had thyroid nodules. The largest is about 1 cm and was biopsied by FNA in 2020. I had an ultrasound last year and my nodule and two cystic nodules were stable and they said see you in a year. Went today for doc visit with my endo. She said she could Feel the nodule when I swallowed (the one that was biopsied in 2020). I don’t have any neck swelling and the rest of my neck and head exam were normal. So I asked her if that was an indicator that it had grown and she simply said let’s discuss after your ultrasound. Wonderful right? So I guess my question is if she can feel it when I swallow does that mean it’s grown? Any advice? I have my ultrasound on January 25. The medical practice I go to is very advanced and give you results right there.
