    I put mine underneath the window and it sucks all the moisture out from the atmosphere which shouldn't be there.

    If the water is inside the two panes, the unit has blown, the seal between them has broken down, the condensation will never fully go away.

    Yes I got a quote to replace the glass it’s a few hundred pounds.

    During the winter that pane will be much colder than the others as its lost its integrity, therefore it has massively reduced its ability to prevent heat loss.

    I have humidifiers as well. Similar to Pulisa's link. They do help. It's surprising how much water they collect.
