Can’t be a bite, could it?

Hi, it’s been a long time!

So this is silly and I think I just need to calm down but this morning at work I was rubbing lotion on my hands when I felt a light sting and itch. I checked and found two tiny ‘pin prick marks” on the side of one of my hands. Like the world’s tiniest vampire or something. They are very faint - I can’t even get a good picture of them - and there was no pain, only a slight itch when the lotion went over then. They don’t seem to be raised either, and I can’t tell if the skin is even broken...

No bats have been spotted nearby nor are there any to be seen in our house, and I only go out in the daytime, so I can’t imagine I was bitten... but this mark is just weird to me.

No. It’s just a mark, not a bat bite.

    Thanks for the assurance!
I think I’m just anxious because we did get a recent alert warning that there’s been an increase of rabies in our local bat population, so my mind jumped straight to “bats.”
