Covid panic feel ok but scared it's going to go downhill

    Hey,

Not been on here in a long time and for the longest time thought I'd get kicked my health anxiety to the curb but thursday started with a small sore throat thought nothing of it finally tested saturday morn after feeling a bit rough and tested positive which threw me into extreme panic so basically thursday slight sore throat fri feeling in throat, sat feeling in throat slight cough like one or two coughs every now and then that's about it sunday similar really and yesterday cough near enough gone felt great to be honest doing my normal day. Today woke up with a little coughing fit this morning that went when i got up probably because i had a dry throat or not had anything to drink the night before. Now very slight pressure in chest comes and goes not sure if that's anxiety though because I'm at panic 100 now. So i made the mistake of googling and it did say day 6-10 is the scary time which I'm approaching. Even though i feel fine and I haven't coughed much at all today if anything just maybe one or two every now and then I'm absolutely petrified it's instantly going to go to my chest and i'll start wheezing and end up in hospital i can already see it in my head now. Now if the cough has near enough gone is this even possible or am i just way off here?

I do have this feeling sometimes feels like wheezing but it's a feeling in my throat not chest but i have this obsession now of having the feel my chest and breathing to see if i can hear or feel any wheezing or rattling sensation so when they say secondary illness can that mean got over it near enough and then it just comes back worse or would you have to be bad to begin with through all the days for it to get worse? I'm just terrified of me being okish now i'm not breathless or anything like that i can walk around upstairs etc no problem but i'm just terrified it's going to go down.

am i* completely overthinking this I'm 26 with no pre exisiting health conditions.

Yes I’d say you were overthinking, I’m sure you’ll be fine. Keep your fluids up and get plenty of rest.

Thank you, so i am guessing if you're feeling fine and being able to walk about etc it's not exactly going to just fly down hill, guessing it's just if it starts out and slowly goes down over time. I am resting and drinking water but it's hard to sit in my room and not panic so might go and sit in the garden outside for a bit

Thank you, i do actually the only thing i have now really is basically post nasal drip at the back of my throat that is really annoying other than that yes. I think that's what was causing me to panic yesterday because it feels like it's in my chest but i think it's actually the back of my throat
