Did anyone experience strange urine odor when they started taking Sertaline? It has started around 2 weeks after I started taking 50mg. Can't say it's sweet, it just smells funny.

A change in urine odor is a known, but uncommon initial sertraline side-effects as are cloudy and/or dark urine, increased need to urinate, urinary hesitation, polyuria (blood in urine) and cystitis (inflammation of the bladder due to infection). Raise this with your doctor if the smell continues mainly to rule out cystitis and other potential causes.Originally Posted by Hypo84
