Stabbing ache and burning stomach

Have been through 5 days of anxiety and stress trying to support my elderly parents after my mum was briefly admitted to hospital following a fall and now am feeling pretty ill myself.

Last night my stomach just seemed to explode with ambulatory aches and pains running front to back and have feeling as if it is on fire. Had virtually no sleep as I just could not quell the discomfort - just keeping at bay with paracetomal and Gaviscon advance but feeling intermittently queasy, and gurgling guts. Just don’t know where to put myself and I don’t want my poor parents to see me like this.

Feeling pretty rough and helpless right now. Has anyone else experienced similar after stressful episode?

I am going through this at moment, last night I almost drove to A&E, I phoned doc he put it all down to acid and prescribed nexium. Elderly parent situations can be very stressful, as I found out. Hope you are looking after yourself.
