Bat worries- rabies

Hi all,
I'm having a bit of a breakdown right now.

So a bat just flew into our living room while my partner was outside smoking. It was just me and my newborn in the room and I panicked, ran out with my newborn and shut the door.

It seems the.bat has flown back out, however I have no idea but I can't find it anywhere.

I'm panicking the bat may have rabies and left saliva behind. I'm scared for all of my family and don't know what to do.

The table has been cleaned and most surfaces have been sprayed with anti bacterial furniture spray, including the carpets.

I had an open wound on the bottom of my foot too.

Not all bats have rabies, it's been effectively eradicated in the UK. I promise, you'll be okay.
