    Re: Sinuses

My sinus situation doesn't seem to be clearing and at times making me feel quite rough (almost fluey). Nothing seems to be clearing the nasal passages so I get the post nasal drip which sets off the coughing.
Sometimes fresh air can help, once I've got over the streaming eyes. Then the situation repeats itself the next day

Aw Carnation, I'm sorry. I don't really have any good words of advice, unfortunately, but I can empathize as I've had a sinus infection the past couple of days. It's awful. Fresh air can be helpful, when you can get it. I also have a saline solution that I flush my nasal passages with that seems to help a little bit too. I know you're not one for meds, but I've been taking some Aleve (naproxen) PM to help myself sleep at night. I've taken Mucinex before when it was really bad, which dries up all the mucous.

I hope you get some relief soon, though. Sinus pain is no joke.

    Re: Sinuses

I’m jumping on this thread because everyone seems knowledgeable about sinus problems! I have had ongoing problems since having a tooth extraction and sinus perforation in July ( had surgery to correct). I made a good recovery but have had alternating nasal stuffiness, vile tasting post nasal drip and alternating thick and clear streaming from nose ( 8 months). I’ve tried steroid spray ( makes nose bleed after while) antihistamines ( some relief) washes, saline spray etc. most offer some relief but can’t get rid of problems completely. Any advice and has anyone developed ‘new’ symptoms that have gone on this long ?

    Re: Sinuses

My sinuses seem to be ongoing with different degrees of mild to almost flu like and it's since I moved, well it ties in with that because I never had it before and now I have it as well as allergies and hay-fever.
I don't know how to control it or rid it so I'm hoping someone is going to come on this thread with a light bulb moment
