Finger pain, feeling so worried

Hi all,

So for the last few days I have had this pain in my finger on my right side. It is quite sharp when it comes and achey, and it lasts for a few seconds and then goes. It seems to be random but I am so worried it is something worrying like ALS. Has anyone had anything similar to this?

ALS is an enormous leap to make from a bit of finger pain. That's not even how ALS usually starts. Pain in ALS usually come further down the line.

What have you been doing prior to the symptom? (Playing sports, lifting something etc)

What are you doing to address your health anxiety?
