Who here has had COVID?

I'd be surprised if there's anybody who hasn't had COVID on here. I can say for definite I've had it 3 times where a test showed positive. I've just got over it 2 weeks ago, then caught a chest infection afterwards. Ti's' the season for illnesses. I always get ill around this time of year. So do most people. I don't know why, maybe it has something to do with the temperature change.

For most people COVID is just a rough few days. Rest up on the sofa or in bed, drink plenty of water.

Every time I've had COVID it came on suddenly and started with a horrible fever. Once the fever goes things feel alot better.

I had it in March. I would describe it as a cold. The main thing was the tiredness after it had cleared up.

I haven't had it yet but my daughter is currently pretty poorly with her first bout of it and has been prescribed antibiotics this afternoon to treat severe throat symptoms.

The first time I had it was in November 2021. It was relatvely mild overall but I did have a very severe sore throat (enough for the doctor to prescribe me codeine). I also lost my sense of taste and smell, but they came back after a few days.

I'm just over my second bout of covid and this time it was extremely mild. No sore throat, a slight cough, bit of a bunged up nose. I've had worse colds. The downside is that it messed with my taste and smell again. Everything started to taste and smell rotten, which was a horrendous experience, but it seems to be getting better.

Even mild cases of covid can be such a nuisance.
