Hi everyone, I'm vix and 47 years old and struggling with my anxiety. I was searching online for help with anxiety and found this website. It's an absolute lifeline! I mainly have anxiety around health, ever since my daughter was diagnosed with Leukaemia in 2010. She is thank fully 10 years all clear now, but the lasting impact for me has been overwhelming. I am trying to get an appointment with the doctors as I finally have reached the point that i recognise that I need help. The guilt is very hard for me to deal with, I feel guilty because I don't want to go out, I don't really want to socialise, my idea of a perfect day is in bed with the curtains shut and no human contact. I've read quite a few posts today and it really made me feel like I'm not alone. Thank you for accepting me into the forum.
