Hi everyone
I’ve been twitching for several years now, however over the last month it has become a lot more noticeable and focal. I have a constant twitch in my left thigh that only stops when I move the muscle then starts again a few minutes later at rest.
I get twitches in other areas such as my other leg, calves, eye but these pass over and are not as common as the constant twitch I have in my right thigh.
I don’t have any noticeable weakness and can do all the tasks that I could before e.g tip toe walking, heel walking, climbing stairs.
I spoke to my GP on the phone who said he wasn’t concerned and didn’t even think it was worth getting me in for a physical appointment.
Question for the forum would be, could ALS/MND present this way or does BFS have hot spots or areas of twitching that can be constant for a period of time?
