Bloody mucus

Hello.

I had some diarrhea this afternoon. Normally there is some mucus during the next visit, this time I think I saw some blood in it. I had eaten tomatoes yesterday, but it did not look like small tomato pieces. I'm terrified, I never had this before. I'm actively losing weight so not sure this is weight loss because of a tumor. What should I do, I can't go to the doctor tomorrow, next option is tuesday. I'm worried sick, what should I do?

It could be food or could just be something like piles.

Thanks for replying. Well the next two visits to the bathroom no visible blood. I'm still going to visit the doc this week for advice, my mind is playing tricks because I'm still not sure if it was blood or just a tomatoe. Does it mean anything that I don't see any blood for now? As far as I know I don't have any piles

Well it's been a month now and no more blood. I did have some mucus today which triggered all the bad memories, but I also started fluoxetine so my stomach is in knots anyway. I'm still terrified each time I go to the bathroom because I don't want to feel that anxious again....
