Is loose stools once a week concerning? I've never had problems with my bowels until one month ago.
I was diagnosed with low iron and prescribed iron tablets that gave me diarrhea for 3 days straight so I had to stop taking them. They also gave me a random anus twitch ( weird I know ) and after I stopped themy stools returned to normal and the anus twitch stopped.
Week later I had loose stools again. Didn't think anything of it and carried on as normal.
Exact week later I had loose stools again, this time with a pulsating feeling in my anus.
Stools went back to normal but the annoying pulse feeling remained.
Week later I have loose stools again.
Now I don't know if this is anxiety triggered, start of IBS or maybe something I should he concered about. Can IBS cause these symptoms? I have got a hemorrhoid but it's old and no longer blood filled and I've had it for 10 years so can't see it being that.
I'm currently waiting to see doctor Monday!
I've also been bloated the last 2 weeks and mild abdominal pain but don't know if that's all in my head. Not enough pain to stop me doing anything.
