Help me be rational about my bowels 💩

Hi everyone. I’m currently worried about my bowels (I usually am).

Long story cut short is that I notice little fragments of red in my stool, which I’m fairly content is undigested food as I eat a lot of tomato and other red veg.

However, in January 2023 I definitely saw blood (a splodge on top of the stool) and the same again in June 2023. Both were isolated incidents.

My question is that if it was an indication of something sinister, presumably I’d have had other symptoms manifest by now? Weight loss, pain etc.

I am going to do some tests, but need reassurance in the meantime. Please help me.
